JustShow ReadMe

Introduction:
JustShow is a slideshow application based on Be's translation kit. It includes several features which i really like.

1) JustShow is drag-and-drop aware. If graphics or a directory containing graphics are dropped on either its application icon or the main "Justshow" window the graphics will be displayed according to the set preferences.

2) JustShow is the only slideshow application for the BeOS that i have found which will resize the graphic to fit the current workspace (if this option is selected in the preferences).

Operation:
JustShow is easy and straight forward to use. A slideshow can be started by either dropping a directory onto the "JustShow" window or selecting a directory from the File menu's open command. A slideshow can be stopped by either closing the window or by pressing command-period. The next picture in the slideshow can be displayed by pressing command-n and the previous picture can be displayed by moving back command-b (command-n and command-b will stop the slideshow).

Preferences:
The "Delay Between Pictures" slide allows you to determine how long JustShow pauses between pictures in a slideshow.

"Display Pictures Randomly" causes the pictures in a directory to be displayed in a pseudo random sequence. If graphics are being viewed randomly, and a command-b is used to go back one picture, the slideshow will be switched to the non-random mode.

"Scan Subfolders" allows JustShow to recursively dig into subfolders looking for files to display. Each folder that is found with graphics will be displayed as seperate slideshows.

"Resize Pictures to Screen" will rezise graphics larger than the current workspace to fit into the workspace.

"Dropped Files as Slide Show" will cause multiple files dragged-and-dropped to the application to display like a slideshow. If this is not selected the application will open each graphic in its own window.

Notes:
The x86 version of this program was created on a PPC machine using the cross compilation tools. I do not have access to a x86 machine and can not perform the tests i would like. If you have any problems, please let me know.

If you find any defects or have ideas for enhancements please let me know.
